South Tenerife Christian Fellowship

Conference 2010

22nd to the 25th February with Paul Mallard

Paul Mallard
With South Tenerife Christian Fellowship Annual Conference back to its former time of February those attending were privileged to sit under the anointed word of God brought to us by Paul Mallard co-pastor of Woodgreen Evangelical Church Worcester England.

It was a privilege and joy to sit under Gods word which Paul brought alive in such a way that it was easy to understand and left us hungering for more.

Over the 4 days each morning Paul took us through Christ's letters to the churches in Asia Minor from the book of Revelation.

Paul Mallard

He began by saying that the letters were for the churches and for the leaders but also to us as individuals, and prayed that each one of us would hear from the Lord through them. I am sure that many were challenged and spurred on as I was, and as Paul said, his prayer would be that we not just be hearers but doers of the word. In the evenings we met God through some of our favourite Psalms which as was already said warmed our hearts and thrilled our souls, as we read about our Glorious God and the wonderful Saviour who loves us and gave His life for us.

Paul's love of God and for the church of God was so evident, and spilled over onto us all. May we all go from here to live for our 'First Love' in obedience to Him, and to spur on and encourage nurture and bless our brothers and sisters to do the same. Iris.

Paul certainly earned his keep this week! On Saturday he was the guest speaker at a Men's Breakfast organised by Ken Cummins who has just begun a new work in Callao Salvaje (www.callaosalvajecommunitychurch.com) .

Paul began by saying, "I've preached 13 messages this week already" That day he spoke to the men on the from John 15 and using the title of John Piper's book, He urged us!
'Don't waste your life'

If you didn't manage to get to the Conference this year, you can hear Paul for yourself, in July. He's one of the speakers at this year Keswick Convention and is doing the Bible Readings from 24th to the 30th July.
