Trish's Baptism

Sunday 23rd May was a very special day in the life of Trish, as she followed her Lord through the waters of baptism


A large gathering, including Trish's family and friends and those from various fellowships, (South Tenerife Christian Fellowship, Princessa Dacil Fellowship, and Callao Salvaje Community Church) were present to witness her public assertion of her faith in Christ.
The crowd grew in number as many passers-by stopping to watch the proceedings as well as some coming over from the nearby Sunday Market.

Commencing the service with a number of worship songs Pastor Adrian punctuated them with an explanation of what was taking place for the onlookers who had stopped to watch and for those who were enjoying the beach area.

The day was made even more special for Trish in that her son Paul was to assist with the baptismal immersion ceremony itself.

Trish's Baptism As the baptismal party entered the water a former pastor of STCF, Tom McVicar, took over the service delivering a strong gospel message to all who were watching and listening.

Trish full of smiles confessed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and was then plunged beneath the water. Emerging again the smiles were even more evident as her favourite chorus "I'm special" was being sung.
For you, Trish, our prayer is that "the Lord will bless you and keep you
and cause the light of His countenance to shine upon you always".
